What is Authentic Essiac?
It’s crucial that you use authentic essiac to get the full benefits you may experience using essiac tea. While the four herb formulas that you might have heard about probably do have some effect, Nurse Rene Caisse and Dr. Charles Brusch ultimately found the eight herb formula to be most effective.
It is important to distinguish between "original" and "authentic" to understand how to choose the best essiac. As with almost everything in life, original versions of formulas, herbal or otherwise, aren't always the best. In fact, it's unusual to find that the first version of anything is the best! Often, when a new product is “discovered”, it is researched and experimented with, and then tested over and over again for results. With time (and usually some tweaking), the effectiveness of most products, including herbal remedies, tends to improve.
