Are You a Flexitarian?

Flexitarians are those who occasionally eat animal products, but overall consume approximately 80% of their calories from plant sources. The remaining 20% of the flexitarian diet consists of lean animal proteins such as chicken breast, turkey and fish. Scientific studies have shown that vegetarians and flexitarians have lower rates of heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and some cancers.
